What is Mirror Protocol (MIR)?
Mirror Protocol is a decentralized platform enabling the creation and trading of synthetic tokens, known as mAssets. Built on the Tetra blockchain and using smart contracts, it bridges traditional finance and DeFi, employing a Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) consensus. mAssets allow trading of digital and real-world assets without direct ownership, operating seamlessly across Terra, Ethereum, and Binance Smart Chain. Developed by Terraform Labs, Mirror Protocol launched in December 2020, aiming for mAssets to be at least 50% collateralized by UST.
