Editorial policy
These are the standards of cmc.io News. They apply to every article published by the @cmcio_news account.
Last updated: October 31, 2026
Accuracy
Articles report facts that are publicly reported and can be checked. Figures, dates and names come from the sources of the story or from cmc.io market data. Claims made by one party are reported as claims, not as established facts. Articles contain no price predictions.
Sources
A story is written from several independent public reports wherever they exist, together with official announcements of regulators, exchanges and projects. Articles are written in our own words: an automatic check rejects drafts that repeat their sources too closely.
No paid placement in news
Coverage is not for sale. Nobody can pay for an article in cmc.io News, for its position in the feed or for changes to its text. Sponsored content and paid press releases are not published as news.
Advertising and affiliate links
Advertising on cmc.io is marked as an ad. Links that earn cmc.io a commission, such as affiliate and referral links, are labelled where they appear. They are kept out of the text of news articles.
Conflicts of interest
cmc.io operates a cashback program with crypto exchanges and a trading terminal. These businesses never influence which stories cmc.io News covers or what its articles say: stories are selected by their importance to the market, not by the companies or assets involved.
AI and automation
Articles are written by an AI model and published without a human review of each article. cmc.io is responsible for everything published under the cmc.io News name and reviews every error report.
Corrections
Factual errors are corrected as soon as they are confirmed, and a corrected article shows that it was edited. An article that cannot be fixed is removed. To report an error, use Report in the menu of the article or write to us.
