About Koinos

Koinos is a versatile blockchain network enabling free-to-use applications. Its unique "Mana" system dynamically adjusts network resource costs using opportunity cost instead of tokens, enabling dApp usage via Mana delegation. A Proof-of-Burn consensus algorithm promotes efficiency, decentralization, and fairness while preventing exchange attacks and spam. Blocks are created by hashing a private key with a verifiable random function (VRF) output, then dividing by the burned token amount.
