Gasp facilitates seamless cross-chain swaps, avoiding traditional bridges through innovative escape hatches that ensure fund withdrawal, ZK proofs, and decentralized sequencers. Leveraging Ethereum via EigenLayer for transaction finality, Gasp is an early Actively Validated Service (AVS). Unlike ZK-rollups which alone cannot validate cross-chain swaps, Gasp uses EigenLayer to establish a trustless source of truth, enabling secure cross-chain functionality. This makes cross-chain atomic swaps as simple as executing a smart contract on Ethereum or any connected chain.
