Decentraland is a virtual world built on the Ethereum blockchain, launched in 2017, where users can interact, explore, and play games while buying and selling virtual real estate. The platform uses two main tokens: MANA, an ERC20 token used for in-world transactions and purchasing LAND; and LAND, a non-fungible ERC-721 token representing ownership of virtual land parcels.
