Vertex Protocol is a decentralized FX protocol designed for trading spot and derivatives across multiple currencies. It addresses the need for multi-currency DeFi applications and on-chain FX trading by providing a facility for stablecoin perpetual swaps, initially on Terra. This enables users to trade, pool, borrow, and lend currencies via stablecoins, similar to traditional finance. Built on the Terra blockchain, Vertex leverages its high throughput and low fees to facilitate seamless cross-border value exchange.
