Its cryptocurrency is MIOTA. IOTA utilizes Tangle, a Decentralized Acyclic Graph (DAG), for transaction confirmation, claiming faster and more efficient performance than blockchains. Tangle addresses Bitcoin's scalability issues by removing blockchain limitations. Tokens are pre-mined, and transactions are validated through the Tangle network's non-sequential nodes, creating a 'tangle' where nodes connect in one direction only.
