BlueCoin (using the token ticker BLU) is the project aiming to create the premiere means of payment online that would be easily usable offline as well. The idea behind the BlueCoin as a token is not only to allow to transfer payments through the Internet, but to also allow the app users to transfer and trade the tokens using the Bluetooth connection on their phones. The transactions speed will be very fast, allowing hundreds of transactions to easily take place in minutes, creating a very scalable environment solving the issue of speed of blockchain-based cryptocurrencies - one of the principal problems of the blockchain currencies has always been the fact that they are simply much slower than the fiat payments (currencies like Bitcoin Cash takes over 2 hours in order to go through the verification process and confirm that transaction took place). The BlueCoin project will be rewarding its masternode owners with a steady supply of tokens in order to energize the token economy.
