What is Alitas (ALT)?

It employs "Restaked Rollups," combining existing rollup frameworks like OP Stack and Arbitrum Orbit with EigenLayer's restaking system to bolster security and decentralization. AltLayer offers three main services using modular Actively Validated Services (AVSes): VITAL for state validation, MACH for quicker finality, and SQUAD for decentralized sequencing. Its Rollup-as-a-Service (RaaS) platform enables rapid deployment of custom rollups, supporting both short-term and long-term rollups. The protocol supports diverse blockchains and virtual machines, promoting smooth cross-rollup communication and strong security through mechanisms like fraud proofs.
