USDC.e is a bridged version of USDC on Ethereum, originating from the Ethereum blockchain. Therefore, USDC.e is different from the native USDC. Circle customers can mint the native USDC through Circle Accounts and APIs. Similar to other native USDC tokens on different blockchains, users can deposit USDC into a Circle Account and convert it to fiat currency easily. To convert USDC.e back to fiat currency, you need to 'unbridge' it to the Ethereum blockchain, which results in native USDC on Ethereum. At that point, you can deposit this Ethereum USDC into your Circle Account and withdraw to fiat currency.
