StakeStone is a decentralized, multi-chain Liquid Staking Token (LST) protocol designed to deliver native staking rewards and liquidity to Layer 2 networks. Its architecture is highly scalable, supporting both established staking pools and emerging restaking options. StakeStone's core asset, STONE, is an ERC-20 token (like wstETH) that doesn't rebase. Instead, its value increases as staking rewards accrue. STONE's on-chain price differs from its DEX price, reflecting the protocol's underlying assets and token supply. Leveraging LayerZero technology, STONE is also an Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT), facilitating seamless cross-chain transfers and expanding use cases and yield opportunities.
