Raft facilitates the creation of R, a prominent decentralized USD stablecoin, either through opening a collateralized debt position (CDP) or by depositing stablecoins into the Raft protocol reserve. RAFT is the native token of the Raft ecosystem, primarily serving governance and staking purposes. RAFT holders can stake Balancer LP tokens to get veRAFT which allows participation in governance and earn RAFT rewards. The total supply of RAFT tokens is 2.5 billion.
