Plugin is a secure and scalable decentralized oracle that is blockchain-agnostic, built on the XDC Network. It is a fork of the open-source Chainlink technology, developed collectively by a large community of developers, researchers, and users dedicated to making Plugin a public good for the XinFin blockchain ecosystem. The Plugin network operates with independent node operators, ensuring decentralization of the oracle system—unlike other oracle solutions that rely on centralized gateways. These node operators are incentivized with PLUGIN tokens for providing high-quality, honest work. Each PLUGIN node has job specifications registered, enabling it to execute tasks coordinated by on-chain oracle contracts.
