What is Kroma (KRO)?

Kroma is working toward creating a universal Zero-Knowledge (ZK) Rollup built on the Optimism Bedrock framework. Currently, it functions as an Optimistic Rollup enhanced with ZK fault proofs, employing a zkEVM based on Scroll. The aim is to eventually shift to a fully ZK Rollup once the process of generating ZK proofs becomes more affordable and quicker.
