Kava is a versatile decentralized platform on the Cosmos blockchain, offering crypto traders products like multi-collateral debt positions and self-issued loans. Users can borrow and lend digital assets directly, avoiding traditional finance. Its ecosystem includes USDX, a stablecoin pegged to the U.S. dollar. KAVA, the platform's native cryptocurrency, has a total supply of 253,378,733. Kava facilitates lending and borrowing via Cosmos smart contracts called CDPs, where users deposit crypto to receive USDX and KAVA rewards. Repaying USDX closes the CDP, burning the USDX.
