JLP, the Liquidity Provider token, is a carefully built index of assets used for swaps and leveraged trading. It can be created using any index asset and redeemed for any other. Liquidity providers are essential as they are the counterparty to traders, lending tokens for leveraged positions. In return, they earn fees from trading, borrowing, and swaps. JLP holders receive 70% of exchange fees, reinvested to increase JLP's price, compounding yield. The exchange generates revenue from position opening/closing fees, borrowing fees, and pool trading fees.
