Iron Fish is a decentralized blockchain project based on proof-of-work (PoW), designed to be resistant to censorship and accessible to the public. Its primary goal is to enable fully private transactions with strong privacy guarantees, following the Sapling protocol. Each account has a view key that allows its owner to read-only access to transaction details. Iron Fish aims to challenge traditional full node usability patterns and supports WebRTC with WebSockets in its networking layer, simplifying peer-to-peer connections without additional setup. Future plans include enabling full nodes to operate directly within web browsers.
