What is Goldfinch (GFI)?
Goldfinch operates by allowing borrowers—currently off-chain lending businesses—to propose terms for credit lines known as Borrower Pools to the protocol. Investors in the Goldfinch community can then fund these credit lines either directly to individual Pools as Backers or indirectly by automatically allocating capital across the protocol as Liquidity Providers via the Senior Pool. Borrower businesses utilize their credit lines to draw stablecoins, specifically USDC, which they convert to fiat currency and deploy locally to end-borrowers.
