What is Across Protocol (ACX)?

Across Protocol facilitates quick and inexpensive transfers of tokens between EVM-compatible blockchains. It leverages an optimistic bridging mechanism where relayers, insured by liquidity providers on Ethereum, advance funds to users on the destination chain. These relayers are later reimbursed from a central liquidity pool on Ethereum using UMA's Optimistic Oracle for dispute resolution.
