Aavegotchi is a crypto collectibles game that blends DeFi and NFTs. Players stake NFT avatars, known as Aavegotchis, with interest-bearing tokens within the Aavegotchi metaverse. These pixelated ghosts on the Ethereum blockchain (ERC-721) derive value from rarity, determined by traits, staked collateral (aTokens), and wearables. Players level up Aavegotchis through mini-games, governance participation, and meetups, and increase rarity with wearables. Rare Aavegotchis earn GHST tokens through rarity farming and command a higher price. The game is governed by AavegotchiDAO, managing funds from GHST token distribution.
