Trezor is a line of hardware wallets for storing cryptocurrency private keys offline. The devices are developed by SatoshiLabs, a company headquartered in the Czech Republic, which released the Trezor One in 2014, one of the first hardware wallets for bitcoin. Trezor is sold through the official website trezor.io and authorized resellers.
The wallets support multiple cryptocurrencies and tokens and connect to the Trezor Suite desktop and web application or compatible third-party software. Transactions are signed on the device, and the firmware is open source. Trezor is aimed at users who prefer self-custody of their digital assets and want to manage keys without storing them on internet-connected devices.
The CMC Score combines public data — traffic, app ratings, security record, age, community and market size — with users' reviews. Missing data is skipped rather than counted as zero, and the less is known about a company, the closer its score stays to the middle of the scale.
