About Webchain
WebChain is the multinational project that is creating a new, fully-featured blockchain that would allow the users not only the creation of tokens and smart contracts using the widely accepted ERC20 and the ERC223 standards in their development, but also to integrate the Internet of things products into the everyday workings of the blockchain itself. The team itself acknowledges the comparison with the Bitcoin but claims that while there are similarities in the workings and the structures of the project, the Bitcoin blockchain is much slower than the WebChain, and WebChain project is largely focused on eliminating the deficiencies of the Bitcoin, creating a faster, more transparent and secure way to conduct financial transactions and interact with the distributed ledger in general. The smart contract support means that any team with the blockchain developers could use the WebChain in order to create their own blockchain-based project and conduct an ICO, that would allow them to collect funds and build a great business on the WebChain foundation.
