Origin Sport (using the token ticker ORS) is the project aiming to create a thing unimaginable just a short decade ago: an online, fully integrated betting platform that would also be completely safe and secure for its users. That kind of revolution in the betting industry has only been made possible by the blockchain technology that would allow every single transaction taking place on the platform to be documented not using the pen and paper, and not even stored on the centralized servers, computers and so on, but instead on the distributed ledger, the blockchain of the today. By creating a ledger that is backed by the consensus algorithms of thousands of machines around the world, and also by implementing the smart contracts that would execute the financial transactions in a fast and easy way automatically, there is now no such thing as a risk of being robbed, cheated or anything else. The conditions of the bet are agreed upon by the peers connecting over the platform, and when the bet takes place, smart contract exchanges the money - it’s as easy as that.
