Mir Coin is a Korean-based project with many partners around the globe that is trying to solve the ever-present problem that exists with the cryptocurrencies: the fact that most cryptocurrencies are not roughly speaking currencies, but rather a digitized asset that is primarily traded rather than used as a means of payment for anything. Combining the creation of a cryptocurrency with the development and distribution of some essential decentralized applications, such as, for example, Taxi King, which allows anybody to call a cab anywhere and pay for it in tokens. Mir Coin aims to build an ecosystem, where a user could easily go for days and even weeks without having to use a single bank or another centralized, traditional payment institution. Obviously, the token itself, Mir Coin, would be a touch unstable to be used as a straight currency, which is why all Mir Coins can be exchange for Mir Pay, which is a stable currency, coupon system and a loyalty point program.
