Out of all areas in a desperate need of being redone and revamped using the blockchain technology, it seems that the harsh conditions that are being faced around the world by the creatives are some of the most important ones to address adequately using the distributed ledger technology. Everybody knows and it’s been a sort of a truism that the artist is always a starving one. Well, no more that should be the truth since the blockchain technology finally allows the artists and the curators of the digital content to be able to enjoy the fruits of their labor in a very direct way, bypassing the usual commission systems that are put in place by the meddling middlemen looking to take a piece of the artist’s pie and their pay. The idea behind CREA is that the creative community around the world needs some empowering and they are doing that by taking power out of the hands of the centralized systems, studios and distribution protocols that would hinder the creativity and restrict their finances.
