Blocktix (employing the ticker for their token TIX) is a platform created to incentivize people to attend the numerous social gatherings, events and other dates taking place in their local places of residence. The actual premise of the project is quite a simple one: there needs to be a convenient, safely private and overall fast and transparent platform that would allow the people organizing many different local festivals, concerts, markets and so on, to receive the residuals from the ticket sales in a reliable way (that would be guaranteed by the smart contract and therefore not subject to any cheating or stealing, nor any potential hacking that might occur in a traditional currency-based situation), to eliminate any kind of fraud, whether dealing with the purchase of the tickets itself (being done on the blockchain as well means that all of the transactions would receive a unique transaction hash containing large amount of unfalsifiable data), know the very visitors of your events and target them purposefully later on.
