Bitcoin File (using the token ticker BIFI) is the project that was designed to create a viable alternative to all of the current file systems in different operational systems and server providers around the globe. The idea is that the Bitcoin File would be a file system using the cutting-edge solutions of the distributed ledger technology, also known as the blockchain technology. It would be a P2P system and consist of a worldwide, premiere means of files sharing and sending, drawing both on the advantages of the IPFS systems of files as well as the Bitcoin network for settlement. The technologies are combined in order to minimize any possible damage to the environment, all the while creating a space for people like miners to get adequate rewards for providing the processing power to the blockchain at large. The users, in turn, would enjoy a much higher degree of security, seeing how the files they are storing would be recorded on the unhackable blockchain, but also users would enjoy a much more user-friendly environment than most blockchain projects due to drawing on the IPFS advantages.
